The second public event of the Art without Border Festival in 2024 was held on 6.07 2024 h 20:30
An important part of the work within the project were collaboration with the village Ditsi located on the demarcation line in the buffer zone of the conflict. We were working with local school Youngs.
Series of workshops led by, Niyayesh Nahavandy , Natalya Tsymbal and Tymon Siejkowski led to creating a performance based on the history of legendary Georgian queen Tamar: “Strength in Unity”. The performance was a core part of the Festival art without Border presentation in the front of local library which gathered local community to watch their Youngs and colleagues in action. Additionally in that day we performed pieces prepared by our participants in Gori all related to their research made during workshops.
The whole event ended late night with warm applause of local public and guests.
