“Theatrical diplomacy as a resource for metadiplomacy and peacemaking” meeting Alexander Rusetsky (online in Georgian ) held on 25.06.2024.

Theater diplomacy is a type of metadiplomacy, which is a systemic resource for strengthening peacekeeping initiatives unilaterally, bilaterally and multilaterally. Theater diplomacy as a means of political communication, technology and influence has been used throughout the centuries-old history of Georgia and, from this point of view, is a traditional method of political influence that can be effectively used for peacemaking. Modern mechanisms that have not been sufficiently used in the peacekeeping process will also be presented at the meeting. The materials provided at the meeting are the result of the fundamental research “Metacognitive capabilities of managing peacekeeping processes” conducted by the Caucasus Laboratory of Geopolitical Modeling with the support of the Caucasus International University. The meeting consists of two main parts – presentation of material and discussion.

Meeting is a part of the project: Art without Border – Festival in social spaces. Polish experiences in the past and today and the transfer of practices in Georgia, implemented by Art Junction Foundatio
