BARBARA PRADZYŃSKA – Actress, director, theatre creator and educator, cultural animator, founder of the Canoa Theater, co-founder of the Art Junction Foundation. A longtime actress of Teatr Biuro Podróży. Student and actress of the Russian Derevo Theatre. She collaborated with independent and innovative theatres in Poland and around the world (in Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Cuba), using the tools of physical theatre, site-specific theatre, butoh dance, performance and others. For years, she has been running theatre workshops, usually ending with performances, for artists, amateurs, youth, children and disadvantaged groups in the social theatre current. Currently, together with Antonio Gonzalez Rodgriguez (Spain), she is researching the potential of shadow theatre and the possibilities of using the play of light and shadow in interactive performances.
