Art is boundless – an artistic presentation after the workshop “City as an inspiration”
Art is boundless – this conclusion and message echoed from the artistic presentation in Gori, Georgia, prepared by the participants of the “City as inspiration” workshop conducted at the Art without Border festival by Zbigniew Olkiewicz. The workshop covered techniques of creation performative actions inspired by city life, everyday life events, social and political relations. The participants have observed and retranslated the situations, stories, conversations and slogans of the city observed in the public space into performative actions. presentation were held i different parts of the city on 25.11.2020.
ZBIGNIEW OLKIEWICZ – actor, visual artist, co-creator and actor of most of performances and projects carried out by the legendary artistic group Akademia Ruchu – one of the most interesting theater phenomena independent theater in Poland. From 1974 he participated in numerous theater tours, projects and festivals in Europe, Asia and both Americas. He actively participates in the preparation and implementation of many international theater projects, artistic workshops and performance projects around the world. It operates on the border of theater, visual arts, performance and interactive installations. Co-creator of „House/Border” performance which was presented on Art wothout Border festival.
